We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join a prestigious hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the hospitality industry and hands-on experience with international chain brands.

The Sous Chef will support the Executive Chef in managing day-to-day kitchen operations while ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in luxury hotels, resorts, or international chain restaurants and a strong understanding of global culinary trends.

  1. Kitchen Management:

    • Assist in overseeing kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.

    • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of all menu items.

    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.

  2. Staff Supervision & Training:

    • Supervise, mentor, and train kitchen staff, ensuring consistency in quality and standards.

    • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

  3. Menu Planning & Execution:

    • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to design menus, including international and specialty cuisines.

    • Innovate and develop new dishes, considering seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.

  4. Quality & Safety Compliance:

    • Enforce strict adherence to hygiene, health, and safety regulations.

    • Ensure all food meets quality, portion, and presentation standards.

  5. Inventory & Cost Management:

    • Monitor inventory levels, control costs, and minimize food wastage.

    • Work with suppliers to source quality ingredients at competitive prices.

 

مؤهلات الوظيفة

  • Culinary degree or professional certification from a recognized culinary institute.

  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in luxury hotels, resorts, or international chain restaurants.

  •  Expertise in international cuisines and menu planning; strong knowledge of modern cooking techniques and kitchen management.
